Hello, my name is John Haid, and I’m running for College Place City Council Position 1.
I fell in love with College Place eight years ago because I was drawn in by its small-town charm, strong sense of community, and the people who make it special.
Since then, I’ve been proud to serve in various roles, from coaching youth soccer to participating on local boards, always working to make our community stronger.
I’m running because I believe local government should be practical and people-focused. I want to help shape solutions that don’t just check boxes but truly make a difference. I’m excited to help build on the strong foundation laid by our dedicated city officials and to work together for the future of College Place.
